The level is a view of about 2/3 of the world map. It may seem cluttered and confusing to look at-if you just look at the tiles individually, but as Chips takes the next obvious step, the level pretty much self-directs Chips along the intended path. The hint tile give the next locations to aim for as Chips moves through the level...eventually getting out into the ocean and back to Australia.
See level 1 -as it is similar, except that Chips goes out into the ocean to colletct the island chips.
There is a way to come back latter and get the chip where the blob is located...saving time
Hope you get you get a laugh about the name of the level #;~) as the frogs in the SE area represent the baboons and the parameciums represent the crocodiles in the march in the SW area. Don't forget to get the two yellow keys before crossing the mountain. Don't hit the green toggle button....in this area- push the blocks east and down and cover the trap button with a block near the red key. Take the left route most of the time.
In the NW area-the trap that the tank gets stuck on just on the other side of the row of block will be OK to cross --as the tank will move on to another trap button that you can't see at first. Use the chip to bump the blocks out from behind the tank and then use the blocks to kill the two bombs up near the tank button-which should be pressed to send the tank back to another location. Go through and out
If Chips collects the two chips at the start for each quad...then the chip count will be easier to keep track of...with 15 chips in each quad...Each quad has two chips (each) that Chips will have to come back and get after getting the ice skate that is under a block in the NE quad.
Don't forget there is a chip under the frog. The right trap button is the one to use to activate the cone machine. Make sure Chips has at least two red keys before going south through the column with all the recess tiles.
A couple of the routes are used at least twice. Access to the socket is through the green door.
Chips needs to stack up blocks to be able to move on to the next quad. Immediately after getting the chip near the tank and frog combination, go directly across (north) and open the toggle door to lock out the from from the blob area. Don't be intimidated by the conjestion next to the marsh area...just take it one step at a time and it will resolve itself. Look out for the fireball in the SE, but Chips actually doesn't need to cross it's path hardly at all.
This level isn't as hard as it may look. Fill in the dirt area in the SW corner so that Chips can come back latter and get the ice skate. Chips should leave 4 water tiles in main block area. Check out the FF slide from the block area to avoid the fire tile. After Flipper...Go west to get the ice skate and then release the frog - and then free the tank behind the dirt. Re-cross the bridge but don't take the chip away from the pink ball until latter. //In the Tank and bug room: put a block where the chip is in the wall. The bug will kill the bomb. Set the blocks up so that the fireball will kill bombs in the other room. In the room with 3 tanks...make sure that the tanks are aligned so that Chips can get past them. In the NE corner, temperarily lock one tank behind a block. Remember to get the chip and socket before pushing the sliding block into the water in front of the exit tile.
use one of the blocks in the SE corner to build a bridge across into the north area...as there will be only one way back into the north area after leaving there. Also, use the same block to kill the parameciums. Don't get onto the FF tile from the north side until Chips has the FF shoe.
There is two main big loops on the north side of the start area...one of these is the last loop to get onto. There is a long trail in the south side that is hard to get onto and ack off of. It also connects to the route that goes around the center area. Pushing the block north after going through the blue door and teleport will activate the glider which in turn releases the walker to come down and kill the bomb that is protecting the "hard to get chip". Go West through another teleport to move on to get the FF shoe and ice skate.
This level hasn't changed much from being in other versions- except for a few tricks and mode of access back into the exit tiles. Go aheas and push the block in the start area down onto the area in the south. Chips does not need to go through the thief in this level. Use the block in the south to finally push one block up through the middle column into the water in the north and then use the other blocks there to fill in the rest of the water to the top row...causing the frog to jump up and out of the way for the other frog to latter jump off the toggle button....if Chips can get the Frog to move west off of the toggle button.
Isolate which one of the fake walls to remove by examining the corners where the bombs are...leave one bomb to explode latter! In this level: Chips WILL need to cross the thief to get the green key...but watch out for leaving a block on the other side of a fire tile. It's all sequencial.
Start to aim for the SW corner and push a block into a bomb to clear the way to the yellow key (latter)//After killing 2 bombs, use the 3rd block to push north to kill the north most bomb. Chips will need to bring an extra block in to kill the last of the bombs -near the sockets. When getting the ice skate- come back going from the ice skate tile location. After getting the ice skate...remember to go back and get the red key under a tank.
Re: the 2 block (above and below the teleport) push the north block first into the teleport and then push the lower block up and then over into the teleport.
this level is to accomidate pieguy's site requirements, etc.
