level 1: Separate Cells

Most of the comments explain my level titles and those oh-so-clever passwords you'll see. [Passwords in all caps.]

level 2: Cage-y Walkers

Password ties into title to make Nicholas Cage [who has no special significance to my life].

level 3: The teeth have their eyes on you

.....teeth......eyes = eyetheeth = FANG

level 4: Free, free, set them free

I think the title of the level is very apt, but the password makes it clear what I think of the song by Sting.

level 5: Uncontrolled Chaos

The spelling, KAOS, is an homage to the "Get Smart" TV show's villains.

level 6: Great Balls and Fire

Password stands for Rockin' Jerry Lee Lewis, who released "Great Balls of Fire." The hint is a line from the song.

level 7: Chain Reaction

Chain, LINK.......chainlink fence - OK, not that funny.

level 8: Uncomfortably Close

SHOO, shoo, you monsters are too close.

level 9: Attack of the Clones

Crazy, I know, but I don't like the Star Wars movies, and this title cracks me up. CHSE = cheesy

level 10: Kohoutek, Run!

MFTI: Morty Fineman "The Independent" .......a mockumentary, and "Kohoutek, Run!" is the name of one of his movies.

level 11: Reverberation (Doubt)

TRTN - 13th Floor Elevators released a song with this title, but I am more familiar with The Jesus and Mary Chain's cover.

level 12: Jay Walker

ME, ME! JayWalker is my screen name on several sites. [It is who I am - it is what I do].

level 13: Secret Passages

Nothing much clever here.

level 14: One at a Time

The title of the level is a HINT about gathering the shoes.

level 15: Just RUN!

QUIcK, quick, like a bunny!

level 16: Keychain

SUPE = my Superman keychain.

level 17: Watch Your Step #1

PATI = cow pattie [don't step in the brown stuff!]

level 18: Watch Your Step #2

The BLUE key has the trickiest role.

level 19: Bluer Than Midnight

The level title is the name of an incredible song by TheThe.

level 20: Gravel Is Your Friend

Friend, CHUM............eh, move along to the next one.

level 21: Every Square Inch

The title refers to the fact the most of my levels use the whole 32 x 32 grid.

level 22: Toggled Exit

The password is a clue. If you need more help, insert "the toggled wall is already" in front of the clue.

level 23: In Desperate Need of an Air Traffic Controller

PATC, I wanted it to be PATCO: Professional Air Traffic Controllers Organization

level 24: Choose One

Not a particularly clever password.

level 25: Under lock and key and lock and key and . . .

The password is a clue about where you start using the keys.

level 26: No Rest for the Wicked

NMA = New Model Army - just about the best band ever. Level title is the name of one of their albums.

level 27: Synchronize

OK, let's Synchronize our WaTCHes.

level 28: Sidewalking

Sidewalking and HEAT are both songs by The Jesus and Mary Chain.

level 29: Evil

HEe-HEe, this level is so evil.

level 30: Eviler

HA-HA, this level is even eviler!

level 31: Rush Hour

Horns are always a-blowin' during Rush Hour.

level 32: Push

The CURE have a song called Push.

level 33: Shove

ICCY - a misspelling of icy - lots of ice on this level! (Levels 32 and 33: notice how Push has come to Shove?)

level 34: Fun with Teleports

AVEC is French for "with." That's the end of your language lesson for today.

level 35: Where the heck ARE the rest of those chips?!

SEEK out those elusive chips.

level 36: Just Out of Reach

Level title is a song by the JAMC, [Jesus And Mary Chain].

level 37: Shhh! The gliders are sleeping.

Sleep........ZZZZ. You already guessed this, right?

level 38: Grab and Run

LIFT is short for shoplift, as in Grab and Run. [I neither engage in nor condone this activity.]

level 39: cloNe x two

There was a group called Times Two who had one cool song called "Strange but TRUE."

level 40: What? Only 8 seconds?!

You'll need sharp knowledge of TELEports for this level.

level 41: Don't Panic!

Level title is the catch phrase from the Hitchhiker's Guide To the Galaxy [HGTG] books.

level 42: Something About You

Level 42's most well-known song is Something About You [OUCH! that was too punny]

level 43: Choices

PICK your Choices..............um, yeah.

level 44: A Little Bit of Everything

VRTY, classified ad-speak for Variety.

level 45: Deja Vu All Over Again - sort of.....

AGIN = again. Hey, I can't be funny all the time.

level 46: Who needs chips? I need shoes!

Shoes - SIZE. See note for level 45.

level 47: Pied Piper

The Pied Piper goes TWEEt!

level 48: Dances with Blocks

The POGO - ah, what a great Dance. Level title is also a play on the film title "Dances with Wolves."

level 49: Four Adventures

ADVS = adventures. Relax, we're almost through here.

level 50: Swim the Amazon

SINK or Swim. Get it?

level 51: 61-WAX-SKULL

Random password as suggested by Pi Guy. Anyone figure out the level title yet?

level 52: Every Square Inch-fixed

Level 21 with the bust fixed.

level 53: Just Out of Reach-fixed

Level 36 with the bust fixed.

level 54: Separate Cells - revisited

Level 1 - Separate Cells - was the first level I ever created. I've learned some tricks in the meantime, so I changed it around a little. Not hugely different or necessarily better, but some new tricks must be discovered!

level 55: Ooh - it's just like a Disney ride!

This may incense some people who hold the Disney corporation in high regard, but, as a former employee, I have a pretty negative opinion of them and their parks, which is evident when you read my hint!

level 56: Intermission

I needed to have two hints for the next level, so I created this level to house one of them. I also hope I made it entertaining.

level 57: OK, now we're cooking!

Level 55 is a bit of a snoozer since there isn't much to figure out, so I took the basic design and went wild. It's too hard for me to judge since I know exactly what needs to be done, but I may have gone overboard and made it TOO complicated. As what happened many times in my first 50-level set, this is another example of me using the entire grid and stuffing a million ideas into it.

level 58: A Different Way

The password kind of gives away the method you need to use, but it's probably not that hard to figure out anyway.

level 59: Slip Slidin' Away

Ice is my favorite variety of floor in CC. I was stuck for a title for a long time until this Paul Simon song popped into my head.

level 60: Thunk!

Most of my levels tend to be big, so this was a conscious effort to create something small and fast.

level 61: A Nervous Wreck

The title is the punchline of one of my favorite jokes (which is in the hint). I don't use invisible walls very often, (though I like hidden walls), but I felt that they were what was needed here.

level 62: Claustrophobia

I was going for a closed-in, mine shaft kind of atmosphere. I wish it could have been a bigger level, but I really wanted to keep all other paths out of sight as you wandered the board.

level 63: Fire and Ice

When the title of Pat Benatar's song popped into my mind, I knew I could design a level around it, and this is what I came up with!

level 64: Get Out of the Way!

I had fun with this one - I hope its solution is not too immediately obvious. Its title at first was The Problematic Tank, which is just awkward and for some reason makes me think of a Hardy Boys mystery.

level 65: Afro Lover

The area with the toggle walls and trap buttons around 13/26 was difficult for me to figure out. I didn't want to make the left or right exits off the force floors only one space wide as I thought that was too difficult, and when I made it two spaces wide, I realized that those with quick fingers would be able to get the sets of keys on both sides of the force floor - something I definitely didn't want to allow! So I was pretty proud of what I came up with to prevent that (pats self on back)!

The title of the level is the name of a song by the British group James, and the hint is my favorite line from it. The line stuck in my head, and it inspired this level, which ended up being a favorite of this latter set. (I have no idea what the title means or how it relates to the message of the song!)

level 66: Jean-Paul Sartre

I don't have to explain this title, do I?!
